七、离奇的杀人动机

警方赶到后，一脸颓丧的王小峰对杀害林云的经过供认不讳。

他定下了一个几乎完美的计划。他知道，五点多正是下班时间，从警局通往学校的马路肯定拥挤不堪，警方的法医鉴定人员需要花一个多小时才能赶到学校。而法医鉴定就算再精确，判断一具冰冷尸体的准确死亡时间也会有半个小时左右的误差。所以他定下了证明自己不在场的完美计划。

他也知道警方判断尸体死于自杀他杀，是非常精确的。所以他并没有直接杀死林云，而是一拳击晕了林云，然后将绳索套在了依然活着的林云的颈子上，拉到了空中，活活勒死了林云。

王小峰确实在中午就去过一次裁缝店，听沈葭提到花布诅咒的传说后，就偷偷拿走了一块花布，然后塞进了林云尸体的手中。正如苏羽所推理的那样，他想让警方以为林云受到了强烈的心理暗示，在心理崩溃的情况下选择了悬梁自杀。

而他之所以要杀死林云，全是因为林云获得了惟一的保送公费读研机会。

王小峰有个表哥，也是学校中文系大四的学生，他们感情甚笃。当保送名额交给林云后，王小峰的表哥非常失望，在家里时常长吁短叹，隐隐露出了抑郁症的症状，心理状态很不稳定。

看在眼里，急在心里的王小峰，偏执地认为，表哥罹患抑郁症，全是因为保送读研的名额被林云夺走了。只要杀死了林云，这个名额就会转到表哥的名下，这样表哥的抑郁症也会不药而愈。

正是为了让表哥得到公费读研的机会，王小峰决定铤而走险，杀死林云。
