长篇鬼故事 - 木雕人

白有功抛下背上的竹箱紧遗不舍，终于在城外的荒郊将他一把揪住，按倒在地，愤怒地哭骂着、扭打着，将他当做自己所有不幸的罪魁祸首。他气急败坏地从衣兜里掏出毒药，硬生生灌入他的嘴中。不一会儿，老奎便口吐白沫。没了气息。可白有功如疯子一般，依旧厮打着他的尸体，全然没有留意到，倒落在一旁的两个竹箱里，一男一女两个人偶慢慢爬出来，悄悄潜到他身后。

待他发觉时，锋利的匕首已经刺入他的后心。

他难以置信地望着那两个人偶。原来他们不但会骑狗、会演戏，还会杀人。不，他们不但会杀人。竟然还会说话。说人话!

只听那“男偶”咬牙切齿地说：“世上怎会有你这般歹毒的人。上次下毒不成，我们将父亲救起逃脱，你竟天涯海角追过来，非要将爹爹置于死地!”

那“木雕美人”抱着艺人的尸体大声痛哭。“爹爹啊，早知今日，当初就该报官啊。您只顾忌着偶戏的秘密会泄露，却不想因此葬送了性命……”

白有功这时才明白。原来艺人一开始抱在手里的是货真价实的木偶，可真正表演的偶戏。却是真人啊，只不过这两个真人，是侏儒。

可是，他到死都想不明白，既然那夜艺人已经带着两个侏儒逃走。留给他一个平凡无奇的木头人。那木头人又是如何吃掉尸体的?那些尸体究竟是如何消失的?

很久以后，蒲先生的茶棚又来了一个过路人。

那些老茶客们照旧调逗着他，非得逼他讲个故事再喝茶。这路人见拗不过，憋了半天，才说：“我真不会讲什么故事，不过听说过一个极为心酸的旧事。”

茶客们好奇道：“这是为何?难道他的夫人有什么异于常人之处?”

茶客们感叹不已，有人问道：“你那亲戚为何不告官’”
